we waited all day to be discharged from the hospital...5 o'clock couldn't get there fast enough.

2 days old

uncle mickey stopped by to meet charlie ann

here is charlie ann all bundled up and ready to leave. she didnt realize at the time that it would take an hour to get home because her dad drove 10 mph the whole way back:)

we were greeted with balloons and decorations when we finally made our long journey back to kingston:) her granny cathy, gma and pap had been by earlier to decorate the house.

mom and i spent 2 days during my christmas break from the store painting, putting her crib together and hanging curtain rods and curtains!! before she was born, i would catch myself just standing in her room looking forward to the day we would bring her home from the hospital and wondering if she would love her room as much we did...and im pretty sure she does:) she starting sleeping at night in her crib at 2 weeks old. in the mornings, she will just lay and look around at all the colors and stare at her pom poms hanging from the ceiling.

we were induced bright and early thursday morning because I was four days past my due date!

we had a lot of family waiting at the hospital to see charlie ann, but immediately after she was born i was rushed out for emergency surgery. i didnt get to see everyone meet charlie ann for the first time...and very few photos were taken at the hospital.

here she is when i got back to the room after surgery.

9 months...

i absolutely loved being pregnant with charlie ann...

even with those 40 extra pounds:)

im hoping to use this blog to share photos of charlie ann with friends and family...and to keep a journal of our ever changing lives!

july 2010:

little did we know, that the day we came home from a weeks vacation in hilton head with mom & cooley...we would learn something that would change our lives forever!!

we played bocce ball every night on the beach! me & mom against curry & cooley...

no comment on who the champions were for the week!

after we got home...unpacked...got showers...we went to gondelier to get something to eat. and because kroger was next door, we decided to go and get a pregnancy test:)

the happiest moment of our lives...

followed by many phone calls, text messages and smiles all around!
